Herd of Wild Elk

This past weekend I again had a chance to go out and photograph the herd of wild elk that live outside of Bancroft, Ontario.

This little one is the youngest of the herd--a late arrival who still has her spots!

This cow is seen enjoying some of the hay that Joe provides for the herd. He gives them enough to help sustain them, which is what encourages them to return to this same acreage daily around feeding time.

Ahem.......there was a little hankie-pankie going on too....

Pictures from the last shoot I did there can be seen here.

Sandra, you are simply the most amazing photographer. Avishalom and I are contemplating a 4-week sojourn in Ontario next winter (U. of Ottawa), and we already agreed that if we do it, we are going to hire you to take family photos of us!
